This is a colonial Tobacco table from East Java Indonesia. I bought this up in the hills of East Java from an old man that had a lot of interesting antiques he was collecting and selling. I brought it home in 1990. These are rare and sought after tables. Its massive size and weight will require a large van or truck. It's very sturdy but should be moved with care. 4 people will be needed to move it safely. Depending on what day we may be able to help.
1. Solid old hardwood - probably teak.
2. Needs a good oiling or a very ight refinishing.
3. One drawer won't fit back in and the other drawer won't pull out - this is due to changes in weather and humidity. An easy fix if you are good with woodworking.
