This is a nice set of stereo components (an integrated amplifier, equalizer, and AM/FM stereo tuner) that I inherited from my father's extensive audio/video collection. MCS is an abbreviation for Modular Component Systems, the "house brand" of JCPenney back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. These particular components were manufactured by Technics for MCS. The integrated amp outputs 100 watts per channel in stereo (very powerful unit), and it sounds terrific. I took the cabinet off, sprayed the inside with compressed air, and cleaned all of the controls with Deoxit. So, it should be good for years to come. The EQ adds a ton of "presence" to the music. And I am truly amazed at the sensitivity of the tuner. It tunes in virtually every local station with ease (even ones outside of the local area).
As you can see from the pics, the components are in very good condition. There are a few small scuffs/scratches on the top bezels/cabinets, but the faceplates are in nice overall shape. Functionally, all of the components work exactly as expected.
