WCITG is a growing Managed Services Provider serving businesses throughout Coastal San Diego County. We are looking for a Senior Field Systems Engineer who can independently manage client environments, lead projects, solve complex technical problems, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.
This is a client-facing position that includes both onsite and remote work supporting a variety of business environments.
Responsibilities
-Lead infrastructure and technology projects
-Troubleshoot advanced Microsoft 365 environments
-Administer servers, virtualization, networking, and security systems
-Deploy and manage firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and cloud services
-Perform onsite client visits throughout San Diego County
-Design and implement technology solutions
-Assist with escalations from other technicians
-Create and maintain technical documentation
-Provide excellent customer service and communication
Qualifications
-MSP experience strongly preferred
-Strong Microsoft 365 experience
-Networking and firewall experience
-Server and virtualization experience
-Ability to work independently
-Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
-Valid driver's license
Schedule
This position is primarily Monday through Friday. Some maintenance, client cutovers, infrastructure upgrades, and project work may occasionally occur after hours or on weekends. We work with our team to schedule these activities in advance whenever possible and strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Compensation
Full-time salaried position. Compensation is based on experience, technical capability, customer service skills, and level of autonomy.
