We are moving a different direction with sheep breeds, and are letting go of our OG breeding stock, Sarah, Hagar and Abraram. We got them as 9-month-old lambs and have had them for 4 breeding seasons.
Abraram is fairly gentle, but needs a reminder sometimes of who is boss. He is bucket trained and we can even pet him if desired.
Sarah and Hagar both lambed a single their first year, and have lambed twins each successive year. They lamb in pasture, and we have never needed to assist with births. They are likely bred, as the rams jump-started breeding season, and our 3 rams let themselves into the ewe pasture on 10/2/26. They are still in with the pure St. Croix ram and the 50/50 St. Croix/Dorper ram, so they are most likely bred by now.
Babies may be pure St. Croix, half Katahdin, or 3/4 St. Croix, 1/4 Dorper.
Selling as a trio, $800
Please note: The ewe pictures are from this spring. Lambs pictured with their moms are weaned and will not be part of the package price. (We may consider selling additional lambs if desired, $300 each, possible discount for multiple)
