The base is heavy. The arm swings all they way around you, so when using you need about 5 feet of floor space in a circle. The arm folds down for storage and could slide under a bed.
They are currently selling this scale only to businesses for $9990 (or you can rent). They have discontinued selling to people. I talked to customer support to confirm I could resell (attached email screenshot) and if you purchase this have to contact them and they will set you up with a subscription. They continue to update and improve the software/firmware all the time. Subscription is $12.99/month or $119.88/year. If its the same as mine, you get 5 users. Confirm everything with shapescale.
I have a feeling you could also use this for businesses - since at the time I purchased this same unit was sold with the multiple client option. You would need to find out what the special subscription would be in that case.

I am at my goal body size and the unit doesn't do slight changes in body composition for my body type well. It originally worked really well for me, and then they updated their algorithm and it improved for most of their client base, but went wacky for me. Great company they even tried to train the model using my data, but I'm an outlier.
