I have a super sweet 16 year old registered ottb mare. I haven't taped her but I'd say she's around 16.1 hands tall. I purchased her about 3 months ago underweight. She could still use a little weight and muscle but she's looking so much better than she was. I bought her with the intention to use her as a second riding horse so my husband and I could go trail riding together. But she has mostly been on the back burner since I brought her home due me being pregnant and having a lot on my plate right now. I have ridden her a few times since bringing her home and she has done very well. Has not offered to buck, rear kick or bolt. If not lunged first she will try to walk off when you are mounting. I would consider her green due to just now being put back into work and I will continue to work/ ride her when I am able. I'm told she has spent a little time in the arena doing barrels and such but cannot confirm this. Stands tied as long as her buddy is near by otherwise she can be a little bit fidgety. Picks up feet, loads, bathes and lunges both directions. She's currently out in the 30 acre pasture with cows and 2 young colts. Other than being pretty underweight when I got her she also came with several old scars. None of which seem to affect her in any way and what appears to be an old hoof abscess that blew and is growing out nicely. Asking $1500 or would possibly trade for a heifer. Other trades may also be considered.
