Precious Fur Cat Sitting provides professional in-home cat care throughout the Portland Metro and SW WA areas. We're currently hiring a regular part-time, flexible cat sitter to serve our Camas, WA clients.
SEASONAL CONDITION: We are only hiring folks who are available for at least four daily 30-minute client visits between November 21-29 AND December 19-January 3.
What you'll do:
-Visit client homes for 30–60 minutes per cat per day to feed, refresh water, clean litter, brush, play, and snuggle
-Occasionally administer medication per detailed instructions
-Navigate to homes you've never visited before, following client instructions exactly
-Work comfortably around in-home security cameras
-Pick up/drop off client keys as needed
-Use apps to manage your schedule and communicate with clients and the team
Compensation and Perks
-- Starting at $19.67/hour effective base rate (pay is calculated by piece-rate at $14.75/30-minute visit to start); weekly visit count varies
-- Holiday pay and job-specific bonuses (e.g., medication administration, peak/holiday days) regularly push your effective rate higher

Requirements:
~ Live in or near Vancouver or Camas, WA
~Have reliable transportation
~Have a smartphone with a data plan and working camera
~Can work a flexible schedule most days, including weekends and bank holidays (see above note)
You’re a great fit if you have:
*Experience caring for cats
*Unconditional love for all cats, even the shy or spicy ones
* Strong customer service and written communication skills
* Proven reliability, attention to detail, and honesty
* Comfort working independently, problem-solving and managing keys responsibly
* Ability to sit on floors, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
* Willingness to complete all hiring steps, including a background check
* BONUS: medical administration, shelter, grooming, vet tech, or other organized animal care experience
