The Audire Legato is a vintage, solid-state stereo preamplifier designed by an Apollo engineer, widely praised by audiophiles on AudioReview and AudioKarma as an exceptional hidden bargain with a smooth, clean, and musical presentation.
Sound Quality & Performance
• Sound Signature: Delivers a neutral-to-warm, silky-smooth, and unobtrusive sound profile without sacrificing musical detail or stereo image localization.
• Phono Stage: Features an acclaimed built-in phono preamp equipped with a subsonic filter to minimize muddiness and control tone arm or cartridge resonance peaks.
• Power Supply: Uses a specially regulated power supply to tame hum and noise, though some vintage pairings (like the Audire Crescendo power amp) may exhibit minor ground or standby behavior until engaged.
