We are looking for a skilled, dependable installer who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can complete residential plumbing installations professionally, efficiently, and according to code.
This position will primarily focus on installing plumbing projects that have already been diagnosed, estimated, and sold by our service plumbing team.
Typical Installation Work
Our Plumbing Installer can expect to perform projects including:
Tankless water heater installations and replacements
Traditional tank-style water heater installations
Whole-home hot and cold water repipes
Main water service replacements
Water service and plumbing manifold rebuilds
Water Manifold/Service Rebuilds
Moen Flo smart automatic shutoff valve installations
Whole-home water filtration and conditioning systems
Backflow prevention device installations
Copper, PEX-A, PVC, CPVC, and other residential plumbing piping
ProPress and traditional soldering copper installations
Gas piping modifications and equipment connections
Recirculating hot-water systems and dedicated return lines
Plumbing rough-ins and finish plumbing
Other residential plumbing installation and upgrade projects
What We're Looking For
You should have experience with residential plumbing systems and be capable of producing clean, organized, code-compliant work.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous residential plumbing installation experience
Understands California plumbing practices and code requirements
Can install and modify copper and PEX piping
Is comfortable with ProPress and/or soldering copper
Understands water pressure, PRVs, shutoff valves, check valves, expansion tanks
Has experience with tank and tankless water heaters
Understands basic residential gas piping
Can properly support, strap, secure, and protect piping
Can perform pressure testing and leak testing after installation
Can troubleshoot installation-related issues in the field
Keeps installations clean and professional
Protects customers' homes and property while working
Maintains an organized work vehicle and jobsite
Communicates professionally with homeowners and the AirWorks team
Takes responsibility for the quality of their work
