Antique/vintage primitive wooden bar-height chair or stool with a spindle back, shaped solid wood seat, splayed legs and stretcher footrests. Finished in old black paint with extremely heavy authentic wear and exposed wood throughout, giving this piece a fantastic primitive farmhouse look.

The thick sculpted seat, tapered legs, spindle construction and extensive wear suggest an older utilitarian chair that saw decades of regular use. No maker’s mark is visible in the photos.

Condition:
Well-used antique/vintage condition with substantial age-related wear. Black finish has extensive paint loss, rubbing, scratches, scuffs and exposed wood, particularly across the seat, spindles and stretchers. Seat edge has considerable wear and roughness. Underside shows old wear and markings. Some feet have later protective caps. Appears structurally intact in the photos, but due to age and wear it is being sold as-is. Please review all photos closely.
