J Bar is hiring an experienced Mechanic to keep our fleet and equipment running safely and efficiently.
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic who takes pride in quality work, can troubleshoot problems quickly, and understands the importance of keeping work trucks and equipment on the road.
What You'll Do
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and company equipment
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Perform brake, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
Perform oil changes, inspections, and routine maintenance
Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
Maintain service records and parts inventory
Respond to equipment breakdowns when needed
Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
Help keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations
What We're Looking For
2+ years of mechanic experience preferred
Experience working on commercial trucks, diesel equipment, or heavy equipment is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Valid driver's license
Must provide your own basic hand tools
CDL is a plus, but not required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (May need to work after 6 if an emergency arises). Must be flexible.
Pay: [$25.00 depending on experience
