What sits behind that finish is our first-factory build: a 3/4-inch plywood cabinet box, dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close undermount slides on the drawers and soft-close hinges on the doors. So the shine is not a trade-off against sturdiness — the cabinets close quietly and hold up the way a daily-use kitchen needs them to.
