Pinball Pizza is a longtime Burbank pizza shop under new ownership, bringing back the classic neighborhood pizza experience with hand-tossed artisan pizza, pinball machines, great food, and a fun 90s-inspired atmosphere.
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate knows their way around a pizza kitchen, works well under pressure, takes pride in their food, and can keep up during busy shifts.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and stretch pizza dough and properly hand-toss/stretch pizzas
* Prepare pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
* Work the pizza oven and monitor cooking times and temperatures
* Prep toppings, sauces, dough, and other ingredients
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
* Keep up with orders during busy periods while maintaining quality
* Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
* Assist with general kitchen duties as needed
* Work efficiently as part of a team
Qualifications
* Previous pizza-making or pizza-kitchen experience preferred
* Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen
* Knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, and oven operation
* Reliable, punctual, and dependable
* Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
* Able to work well with coworkers and take direction
* Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies
* Positive attitude and good work ethic
