Small, owner-operated landscaping and exterior services company looking for one dependable person for fall cleanup season And remaining landscaping/lawn care season. You’ll be working directly alongside the owner on residential and light commercial properties. No corporate crew — small teams, clear expectations, and you get paid on time every week.
Schedule
Wednesday–Friday, 3:30–7:00 PM, approximate, subject to change.
Some Saturdays and/or Sundays, daytime hours
Flexible scheduling.
Roughly 10-25 hours per week depending on the week and the weather
You will not work every one of those blocks every week. Schedules are posted ahead of the work week so you can plan around them. You are able to put in unavailability in at least 5 days in advance.
This role requires an approximate two-month commitment through the end of November. Please don’t apply if you can’t commit through the season.
Responsibilities
Leaf cleanup: blowing, raking, tarping, and hauling
Operating backpack blowers, trimmers, and mowers (training provided)
Loading and unloading material, equipment, and debris
Bed maintenance, edging, and general property cleanup
Loading/unloading trailers and helping with disposal runs
Keeping tools and equipment clean and staged for the next job
Working respectfully on customer property — this is a customer-facing job even when nobody’s home
Qualifications
Required:
16 or older
Reliable transportation to job sites or a meeting point in the Brookfield area
Able to work outdoors in (rarely) cold, wet, and windy conditions
Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet for a full shift
Available for the schedule above and committed through the end of November
Shows up on time, every time
Preferred:
Previous landscaping, construction, farm, or other physical labor experience
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Experience with blowers, trimmers, or mowers
Comfortable towing or willing to learn
Pay and details
$17-22/hr depending on experience, paid every other week. W-2 position. Equipment and PPE provided. Potential for continued work into next season for the right person.
