Full-Time Veterinary Assistant / Registered Veterinary Technician (R.V.T.) (Experience preferred)
Location: Boulder Creek, CA — nestled in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains 🌲
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant or R.V.T. to join our busy, multi-doctor small animal practice in Boulder Creek! Experience is preferred but not required—we’re happy to train the right motivated individual.

Who We’re Looking For:
Our Veterinary Assistants and R.V.T.s play a vital role in creating a positive experience for every client and patient. You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team that values learning, kindness, and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-trained in all aspects of the clinic (front and back office, we do it all here)
Greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments
Checking clients in/out, presenting estimates, and processing payments
Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries
Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiographs, and vaccine administration
Providing daily patient care, including hospitalized animals
Maintaining accurate medical records and client communications (we are still a paper practice but actively working on transition to digital with our Pulse PIMS)
Educating clients about pet health, preventive care, and nutrition
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all areas of the hospital
