Recording Studio Seeking Engineer for Time Barter

The Space:
-Basement apartment, concrete walls — that cuts down a lot of bleed and echo between rooms.
-Located by Grand Concourse & Tremont. Co op Building
-Windows aren't soundproofed, so some outside noise does get in. We can work around it (timing, positioning, temporary treatment).
-2 Desk set up for home/project work.
What's set up:
-Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface
-Rode NT1 Signature Series mic
-Philips SHP9600 headphones
-A 3-screen laptop setup — this is a streaming rig, not a DAW. No Pro Tools, no production software on my end.
What you need to bring:
-your own laptop with your own DAW and presets. This set up can accommodate most modern laptops.
What you can use your time for:
- Treat it like workspace time — record, mix, edit, study, work on your own project.
- A small photo shoot is fine too. It's not grand or set up for productions or events, but I do have a photography set up.
How the trade works:
-Only time in the studio seat will be time bartered for. 3 hours Minimum
-You record/engineer my session. I give you the same number of hours in the space afterward.
-I’ll work with you to use your time as you need.
- +1 guest max.
Who owns what:
-Anything made in my session is mine.
-Anything made in your session is yours.
