2017 and 2018 are the last 2 years of the improved 690 Duke, the ultimate road going single, with dual balance shafts and improved engine.

They continued making singles in tall dual purpose Enduro and SMR versions but if you seldom take to the dirt and don't care for sky high seat heights, this is the lightest 690 and fully oriented for street riding and comfort.

Easy to park and move this 350lbs bike around.
A lane splitting delight, frugal with 50+ mpg Prius beating fuel consumption.
Commuters can cross bridges at reduced toll.

Forget about Yamaha SR500 or even anemic SR 400, SRX600 and XT600 (no electric start), or Honda XR600 and GB500. The 690 is in a different league with up to date ABS and traction control, very effective WP suspension and effortless electric start.

Very well maintained with new fork seals, belly fairing, cat delete and lithium battery.

Can set up with your choice of handlebars, exhaust etc.

Registration good till May 2027.
