We’re looking for a friendly, responsible housemate to join our community-oriented home in North Boulder, near Wonderland Lake.
The house is a beautiful and spacious 5,200 sq. ft., 5-bedroom home with tons of shared space and an incredible backyard bordering a greenbelt. We’re five adults with our own independent lives who also genuinely enjoy knowing the people we live with. We’re looking for someone who wants a little more connection than a typical roommate situation while still having plenty of space and independence.
THE ROOM & HOUSE
• Garden-level unfurnished bedroom with two closets and two south-facing windows
• Full bathroom shared with one other clean and considerate housemate
• Large shared kitchen and multiple living/common areas
• Plenty of space for working from home, yoga, relaxing, exercising, or hanging out
• Music rehearsal studio, exercise bike, NordicTrack, and home entertainment system
• Reliable 300+ Mbps Wi-Fi and Ethernet
• Rent: $1,042/month
• Utilities + shared household supplies: approximately $100–$150/month, depending on the season
• First month’s rent + one month’s security deposit required at move-in
• No pets, tobacco, or artificial fragrances
AN AMAZING NORTH BOULDER LOCATION
One of our favorite things about the house is the large private backyard bordering a greenbelt, complete with a year-round running stream, huge mature shade trees, raised garden beds, and an outdoor fireplace.
We’re within walking distance of Wonderland Lake trails, Lucky’s Market, and the Skip and 204 bus lines, with easy access to everything Boulder has to offer.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’d love to find someone who is friendly, clean, considerate, communicative, and interested in being part of a household rather than simply renting a room.
You don’t need to participate in everything we do or spend all your time with the household. We value independence. At the same time, we’re looking for someone who enjoys knowing their housemates and contributing to a positive home environment.
Everyone shares basic household responsibilities such as keeping common spaces clean, occasional yard care, and snow shoveling. We have a monthly house meeting to take care of household logistics and maintain good communication.
We also try to be considerate of one another when someone is sick and appreciate common-sense practices that help keep the household healthy.
Quiet hours are generally 10:30 PM–7:30 AM, with flexibility and communication around occasional gatherings or different schedules.
LEASE DETAILS
We’re looking for a long-term housemate.
The house is rented through a property management company under a yearly lease that renews each June. Housemates have a rolling sublet agreement with 60 days’ notice required before moving out.
References are requested as part of the process, and we’re happy to share comments from former housemates as well.
