We've got a nice bedroom + shared office space open for a few months till the end of the year, basically matching up with the fall school semester. Take a look at description and pics and shoot a message back if it's a fit!
House:
5 bed, 3 bath, renovated house that backs to an open field - amazing fenced backyard, great mountain views, renovated interior. Many new features including expanded back yard with flagstone patio/elevated deck/more amazing views plus a new garden space with fruit trees/raised beds/greenhouse!
On top of all that a PV solar panel system has just been brought on-line to green things up!
Have an EV?? - I don't (yet), but I'm itching to put in a high-speed charger proactively so give me the excuse.
Location:
Near Fairview HS in the Table Mesa neighborhood - great spot close to the Flatirons and open space hiking/biking trails, cafes/grocery store/rec center/restaurants/brewpub are an easy walk, ~100 yds to Skip bus stop with service to CU campus, Pearl St. and north Boulder, plus easy access to Hwy 36 and 93 to Denver or Golden when you want to get to the big city or mountains.
Living Situation:
There will be 3 people total sharing the main house and would like to keep it as a mix of working professionals and/or grad-level students. Our shared occupations span across Antarctic research, mobile app development, and teaching/yoga instruction.
The college apartment days are behind us so looking for housemates who are self-directed to keep things CLEAN & TIDY and you can expect the same in return. No crazy parties, smoking, illicit drugs - though definitely up for a good BBQ/game-night gathering with drinks, etc. every now and then, however.
There's a cool and respectful vibe with interests in travel, sports/outdoors (skiing, hiking, biking, camping), music (guitar, ukulele, bass), gardening/cooking. We have a really chill/sweet kitty cat as a house mascot who is always ready to cuddle or just say hi :-)
Ideal Roomie:
Seeking another fun, friendly, respectful, adventurous guy/girl who is eco-minded (recycling/composting/conservation/etc.), sociable, and into all the Boulder things. We're somewhat full-up on the animal front, though might make an exception for the right friendly and mellow critter.
Rent/Utilities/Lease:
$975/month for the bedroom + shared bonus room for office/gear storage use (perfect to work/study from home). Utilities are shared at flat rate that includes everything you need (wifi, water, trash/recycling, gas/electric). Lease terms can be flexible, though ideally looking for a medium-term (Sep-Dec) till end of year.
Availability:
The space will be open/avail in early Sept
