I had him install multiple chain hooks and strap hooks too.
I had it professionally painted and clear coated. Added custom hoses and fittings and then tried to use it about 6 times for about 10 hours total. Honestly the bucket is awesome but my loader is too small. It’s a 28,000 lbs machine made for 8’ buckets and this is a 9’ wide one that’s made for a 36,000+ lbs machine. I can’t really load it up all the way heaped and load into a high wall dump truck. Runs out of lift power.
It has a few scuffs and scrapes from me trying to load it with my small excavator but it’s basically brand new. There’s no wear at all. It’s built so beefy and tough. I really wish it was just a foot smaller.
So I’m selling it. I’m not in a rush so please no lowballs but feel free to make an offer. I would like to get a lightly used skid steer forestry mulcher at some point so that’s where the money for this will go. Open to trades if you have one.
I’m trying Craigslist first and then I’ll go to machinery trader next.
Hopefully this awesome bucket will find a better home soon.
