Stereo System (circa 1990): Audio/Video Stereo Receiver Pioneer VSX-4900S [2 each] with one remote and operating instructions; Quartz Direct Drive Automatic Turntable System Technics SL-QD33 with accessories and operating instructions; Multi-Play Compact Disc Player Pioneer PD-M640 with remote, cartridges, operating instructions, and Service Manual; Stereo Double Cassette Deck Technics RS-TR333 with operating instructions and Service Manual; Bose 10.2 Direct Reflecting Speakers with Acoustimass Speaker Technology one pair; stereo cabinet. The two receivers and the turntable were fully functional when last used a few years ago. Neither the CD player nor the cassette deck is functional though I replace all the bands in the cassette deck in an attempt to repair it. The automatic shutoff turns off the cassette deck almost immediately. I did open the CD player but decided it was too intricate to attempt any repairs. One of the speakers was dropped by a mover and I put it back together but a short while before I stopped using the system is appeared to be introducing static. I modified (not with finesse) the back of the cabinet to make it easier to do all the hookups.
