Birmingham, AL | 5–10 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule
I’m looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented person to assist with my small, independent beauty and lifestyle business, as well as occasional personal errands and general assistance.
This is a hands-on, part-time position working out of my home in Birmingham. The schedule is flexible, approximately 5–10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
* Assisting with the production of small-batch beauty and skincare products
* Heating, melting, mixing, and pouring balms and other skincare formulations
* Filling bottles, jars, and containers
* Labeling, assembling, and packaging finished products
* Assisting with simple jewelry assembly and other creative projects
* Packing and shipping customer orders
* Organizing inventory, supplies, and workspaces
* Running occasional errands and helping with general organizational tasks
Ideal Candidate:
* Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
* Organized with excellent attention to detail
* Good fine motor skills and manual dexterity, with steady hands and the ability to perform precise, delicate tasks
* Comfortable following recipes, measuring ingredients, and working carefully with heated materials
* Enjoys hands-on, creative work
* Able to follow instructions and work independently
* Flexible, adaptable, and willing to help with a variety of tasks
* Has reliable transportation
* Experience with jewelry making, jewelry assembly, or other detailed craftwork is a plus!
Previous experience making beauty products is not necessary. I’m happy to train the right person. What’s most important is reliability, patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
