My experience is to be wary of doctors and rely on your own judgement with decisions that affect your well-being. I have colon cancer diagnosed in 2013. The doctor wanted me to take a chemo drug and that was claimed to cure my cancer. I heard that and sought advice outside the medical profession and trusted a person whose advice has kept me healthy and away from the doctor's cure. It just seemed impossible to get well by consuming a poison.
But the topic I really want to talk about is the heart condition I have because I need bypass surgery and the doctors have denied me that procedure. I worked my entire life assuming at this time in my life I would get what I need. I wonder why I paid into Medicare all those years and now I get told "No". How could that be? I think part of the problem is I live in California. Well that's enough of a rant . . .
Medicare for all is the new mantra and I'm sure that will work out well.
