Psychedelics aren't for everyone. And frankly, they shouldn't be.
They are for the bold few who are open to challenging themselves to see things differently, instead of just reaffirming who they think they are or should be. They are for those who respect and honor them; who are willing to be taken somewhere they can't access any other way. For those seeking a new perspective to life's most challenging obstacles. They are for those who need something beyond years of therapy to understand. But the actual trip is only the beginning. A lot of people take plant medicine and stop after the journey. Intense emotional experiences rich in wisdom, fading away over time because they didn't know how to hold onto what was shown to them. Influenced and shaped yet again by the surrounding world around them.
Psychedelic integration isn't just about doing some mushrooms and talking about pretty imagery. It's about intentionally using plant medicine to go into ourselves and examine the parts of us we're subconsciously afraid of that have been getting in our way over and over.
Substance abuse, social media addiction, shitty relationships, cyclical behavior that keeps us stuck are all problems we all deal with. Breaking these habits has to grow from the inside out. When approached responsibly, psychedelics re-write your DNA in ways you can't even imagine. You can emerge from an experience evolved and reborn.
I say again, this is not for everyone.
I've spent over a decade exploring plant medicine. They continue to shape who I am and how I see the world, and I know they can for others as well. However, so much potential is lost to casually approaching these experiences, and it's a real shame. I started doing this work because I know the landscape very well, and can guide you through it. I help people actually do something with what surfaced during a psychedelic experience, instead of watching it fade into the same old story they tell once and forget.
Maybe your trip happened 3 years ago and you could never really process it with those around you. Maybe it happened last weekend and you're still raw. Maybe you've been curious to try, and you're ready to go in and explore. Wherever you're at with it, I'll meet you there, because I've been there many times before.
