Tired of feeling stuck?
What would change if you had someone in your corner who's helped hundreds of students break through plateaus, develop confidence, and actually enjoy the process of making music?
I currently have a few openings for students who are serious about growing. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to music after years away, or looking to take your skills to the next level, lessons are tailored to your goals, interests, and learning style.
What You'll Gain:
• Learn the songs and styles you actually love
• Build confidence, technique, and musicianship
• Develop effective practice habits that accelerate progress
• Learn theory in a practical way that applies directly to real music
• Explore improvisation, songwriting, and creativity
• Receive personalized guidance every step of the way
About Me:
• 29+ years of musical experience
• 18+ years of teaching experience
• Degree in Contemporary Music Studies
• Training in Classical Piano, Flamenco Guitar, Jazz Guitar, and Jazz/Latin Percussion
• Professional producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist

What Students Say:

"Mark is a truly creative and visionary force. He's been instrumental in creating my brand's signature sound." – Sah D'Simone
This May Be a Great Fit If:
✓ You've always wanted to learn music but haven't known where to start
✓ You're tired of hitting the same ceiling over and over
✓ You want a mentor who balances creativity, structure, and encouragement
✓ You're ready to make meaningful progress and enjoy the process
Most students actually prefer Zoom lessons because I can screen-share notation, recordings, exercises, and custom practice plans while eliminating Bay Area traffic and commute time. In-person sessions are available for the initial lesson and occasionally thereafter.
