These two antique engravings are inspired by original landscape paintings by French artist Gaspar Dughet (Gaspard Poussin) and George Boydell. With matching frames, both are dated to 1746 and the first, attributed to François Vivares, depicts a classical landscape scene with trees, a river, and architectural elements. The second titled "The Fisherman" is attributed to the English engraver James Mason and also depicts a pastoral landscape but featuring men fishing in a wooded setting. Light spotting on both.
