One Tumi Alpha 2 expandable suitcase, check-in size, great for a week's trip and in its expanded version to at least two or three weeks (in my packing experience). Inside is in excellent condition (see photos), outside has standard scuff marks from baggage handling but the nylon, zippers, and wheels are intact and all function well. Purchased ten years ago, used less than a dozen times.

The Tumi Alpha 2 is a standout luggage generation in terms of aesthetics and design. It introduced more than 30 engineering refinements and 14 patents over the original Alpha line, optimized packing space, reduced overall weight, and improved the recessed 360-degree mobility wheels while retaining near-indestructible FXT Ballistic Nylon durability.

The suitcase measures 26" x 19" (based on exterior bumper and wheel dimensions). Unexpanded its depth measures about 12"; expanded it is more than 15" deep. To expand (see the photo of the inside), it uses the button-activated Lever Lock Expansion System, allowing it to expand two separate levels for extra packing space.
