QR Code Link to This Post
2 x 2.67Ghz Xeon E5640 Quad Core processors
24GB server RAM
2 x 750W hot swappable power supplies
Includes 2 x HP 146 GB SAS 15K RPM hot swappable server hard drives (for testing purposes).
(Chassis has 8 hot swap HDD bays supporting 2.5-Inch SAS SFF drives in carriers)
I powered it up and ran MEMTEST86 on the RAM with no errors, but I never got around to installing an OS like Linux or TrueNAS.
It is beautifully designed and constructed. I would keep it for that reason alone, but I don't have enough room for all my stuff, as it is.
Asking $50.
Yes you can buy this stuff online, but that would cost a minimum of $200, more with shipping and tax.
(These items cost me $250 several years ago).
BUY LOCAL instead!
