Hello! We’re a group of four (women-identifying) housemates in our late 20s-30s looking to welcome a 5th roommate into our large but still cozy home near Downtown Berkeley. Our house is just 5 blocks from the Berkeley BART Station, making it a convenient spot for commuting and exploring the area.
----------------------------
The Room:
Type: Primary bedroom with in-suite private bathroom
Available: October 1st
Size: 202 sqft; fits king sized bed, desk, nightstands and dresser comfortably. Room will come unfurnished, pic is how past tenant had it furnished
Rent: $1,275/month, month-to-month
Bathroom: Private in-suite
Deposit: $800
----------------------------
The House:
•1,854 sqft
•Full kitchen with a dishwasher - we do weekly rotations of who is in charge of deep cleaning the kitchen.
•In-house laundry room
•Shared Basement for bicycle storage
•Two living rooms
•A large shared garden (we share with another large shared house on the property)
•Limited driveway parking (requires double parking coordination with housemates, compact vehicles only or getting a street permit is pretty easy)
•We are pet friendly-ish. We have animals on property already, one of which is a dog who cannot co-mingle with other animals, so for safety reasons we adhere to a strict "no free roaming animals" rule. If you have a pet who you know would not do well staying in your bedroom, it may not be a good fit. Caged/tanked animals are not a problem!
• Although the bedroom for rent is unfurnished, the rest of the house is completely stocked. So no need to bring in living area furnishings or kitchenware - we got that covered.

Monthly Utilities (approximate):
Water: included in rent
Internet: $20
PG&E: $80–$100 in summer, $110–$150 in winter
