We're in search of a picture framer/designer with retail management experience, to help lead and support our very busy picture frame shop. We're looking for a positive, hard working individual who can help prep and process orders and be a resource to our floor staff. If you are detail-oriented, love working with your hands, can organize, prioritize, and enjoy servicing customers, our shop may be the place for you!
Looking to fill 1 position, Full Time, available at least Weekends (Sunday & Saturday) and Mondays.
Framing experience and knowledge of different types of art a PLUS but not required--we will train you to the CP ways. Must possess great attention to detail and respect for all art media types and understanding of value related to all frameable pieces. Must be a team player who can prioritize with minimal supervision and can adapt to varying workloads.
Retail management and customer service experience preferred. Candidate must be comfortable and confident with customers and able to take responsibility of the salesfloor in the Store Manager's off days.
Responsibilities include:
- Fitting, unfitting, and re-fitting framing orders
- Framing hand tools and materials handling
- Careful handling of various art mediums and sizes
- Reading and executing workticket specifications and notes
- Utilizing internal frame order system to process orders and update statuses
- Prioritizing daily workload
- Regular housekeeping of workstations and common areas
- Customer service
- Work with and opposite Store Manager to oversee store operations and customer interactions
- Provide guidance and lead staff in salesfloor operations and design/transaction issues
- Work with team and management to problem solve and establish efficiencies
