THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
This Italian pewter pitcher is waiting to serve water or wine (or other beverage of your choice) at your table, for special occasions and everyday use!
Between uses at the table, it can provide decoration for your home, either on its own or filled with flowers.
The pitcher was made in Brescia, Italy, as indicated by the lion “maker’s mark" on the bottom. The lion is the traditional emblem of Brescia, which has been a top pewter manufacturing region in Italy for several centuries.
The number ’95’ on the bottom signifies the high tin content, thereby ensuring the pitcher meets Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards for food safety. Pewter is an understated yet luxurious material with complements any style of decor.
Pewter should be washed by hand with mild soap and dried with a towel after washing. Do not place in the dishwasher.
This piece is in wonderful condition and would also make a special gift.
