We're Mosaic Design Labs, a small AI-native engineering studio in West Berkeley that designs medical devices and lab instruments. We're looking for a reliable, organized person to keep the lab running smoothly one day a week.
What you'd do
- A weekly walk from our checklist: restock snacks and supplies, trash and cardboard, mail, plants, putting things away
- Receive deliveries and put parts where they belong
- List surplus equipment on eBay and Craigslist (our AI tools help), answer buyer questions, and pack and ship sales
- Occasional runs to our storage units in Richmond and Berkeley. We have a utility trailer; a vehicle with a hitch is a big plus.
You
- Reliable and self-directed with a checklist
- Careful with equipment and good at packing
- Comfortable with a phone or laptop for listings and messages
- Can lift 50 lbs
Details
- 8 hours a week. One weekday preferred; a weekend day or two 4-hour blocks also work.
- $25-30/hr. Starts with a paid trial.
- There may be opportunities to expand the role as our project portfolio grows.
- We're also hiring a Lab Technician; tell us if you'd like hours in both.
