iTopStudy International Education Consulting is seeking an experienced part-time AMC 8/10/12 Competition Math Tutor to join our teaching team.
We are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with motivated middle and high school students and can help students develop strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and effective strategies for AMC competitions.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare students for AMC 8, AMC 10, and/or AMC 12
Teach competition-math concepts and problem-solving strategies
Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
Develop individualized study and practice plans
Review practice problems and mock exams
Help students strengthen mathematical reasoning and confidence
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related field
Previous experience teaching or coaching AMC 8/10/12 students
AMC, AIME, Math Olympiad, or other competition-math experience is highly preferred
Strong communication and teaching skills
Patient, responsible, and dependable
Experience working with middle and high school students
Position:
Part-time, flexible schedule. Online and/or in-person teaching opportunities may be available.
Compensation is competitive and based on qualifications and teaching experience.
