Old internal frame backpack - expands to very large size - $40 (berkeley)

- Two long vertical pockets on the back.
- A zipper near the bottom (where the color changes from red to grey) allows access to the bottom area (where sleeping bags are usually placed).
- The top flap is a large pocket and is removable. Also, the belt can be removed from the pack and attached to the removed top flap for use as a big fanny pack (it's the flap-pack that's big, not the fanny!)
- At the top of the main chamber there is a black extension sleave that adds a lot more volume for even the most hordful, over-packer.
- Two holes as seen in picture (popsicle sticks shown to show relative size of holes).
- Lots of webbing to tie on an ice ax, or other items. Straps to compress the load into a more compact size.
- By modern standards, this pack is quite heavy
