We (my wife and I) have lived in this apartment for 4 years and will be in Europe for work during the sublet period. It comes fully furnished including full kitchenware for your use. There is a washer and dryer in the building and utilities + wifi are included. We have had subletters during summers when we both tend to be away, and all our subletters really enjoyed this cozy apartment. Most other tenants of the building are friendly UC Berkeley students at various stages.
The rent including everything is $2600, and we ask for a deposit of $2000. There is some flexibility with the dates, but the ideal subletter would commit to 3 full months, in which case the rent could be slightly negotiable.
Some ground rules:
No smoking
No dogs
No loud parties or noise that would lead to complaints from reasonable people (most of our neighbors around the building are families with kids).
Note on the floor plan: The "dining room" is actually the bedroom, and the "bedroom" is the office. The fireplace is decorative.
Note on other photos: Some of the furniture is different than shown, as the photos are from a few months ago. The red chair is no longer there; we got a new coffee table and a dining table, different shower curtain etc.
