The Nikon Coolpix P1000 is famous for its unparalleled reach. Its massive telephoto lens extends to 3000 (three THOUSAND) mm optically, and this can be multiplied 4x digitally. There's nothing else like it on the market. There is a slightly updated version, the P1100, but the P1000 is holding its value well, and in some markets goes for more than the new model.
I've used mine in a local park for bird and other nature photography, always on a tripod. The camera works like new. Everything functions and there's no cosmetic damage. The only loss is the fixed lens hood, which I've replaced with an extendible rubber lens hood that works much better. It comes with three batteries, two chargers, the unused neck strap, some filters, and the original factory box that it came in. It's updated with the latest firmware. My birthday is coming up and my wife has promised me a more expensive camera as a present, but I have to sell this one to help pay for it.
