Helping a friend transfer his lease at The Valiant (2538 Durant Ave), about a 1-minute walk to campus. Brand-new luxury building: rooftop deck, gym, study lounges, community kitchens, bike storage, package lockers.

He just lowered the price. Two ways to fill it:
- 3 people: 1 private bedroom $1,899/mo (about $500 under the building's listed price) + 2 shared-bedroom spots $1,632/mo each (I have a separate post for the private room)
- 2 people: both bedrooms as privates, $2,199/mo and $2,399/mo (larger room)
