Hours: 5:30 AM – 1:30/2:30 PM, 6 days a week.
Location: Ashby Ave & Adeline St, Berkeley, CA
Cafe Adeline is an independent neighborhood cafe opening on Adeline Street: specialty coffee, honest scratch-made baked goods, and a calm, respectful kitchen. No burn-and-turn. You run morning production with real ownership over your station.
The work: morning pastries, teacakes, cookies, seasonal sweet and savory bakes. Dough handling, scaling, proofing, oven management. Prep for the next morning. An impeccably clean station.
You: 2+ years professional bakery or scratch pastry experience. An early riser who takes pride in consistency, beautiful browning, and exact scaling. Kind, warm, and collaborative with the team. You love what you bake, and it shows.
