JOB 1- I need someone with a full sized pick up truck to make a dump run from north Berkeley to the the transfer station. I am offering $25 an hour for time plus a flat $20 for gas, and will pay the dump fees. You will need to load up the materials. Must be a full sized truck or larger. I also need assistance moving things around as part of a garage organization.
JOB 2- I need a skilled carpenter and a carpenter’s helper/labor to install insulation and plywood on the interior walls of our 20’ x20’ garage. I’ll order the materials. I’m a retired general contractor, so I don’t need to hire a general contractor to manage the project-just a skilled carpenter and a helper. I also need to install some lights on the garage ceiling- so it would be good if you those basic skills. If you don’t want to do the wiring, you can hang the fixtures and run the romex and I’ll wire it.
Dump run is ready to go Monday. Carpentry work can start as soon as I get materials onsite-probably Wednesday or Thursday. Hourly rate is based on experience. You should have your own tools.
