Funky Door Yoga is busy, expanding, and having a damn good time doing it.
We’re looking for a Studio Manager for our Berkeley location who can help us lead the next chapter.
Funky Door is a little different from your average yoga studio. We’re cheeky, authentic, loud, and welcoming. We take yoga seriously — but not ourselves.
Our biggest priority is creating a place where all walks of life feel welcome. No gurus. No perfect yoga people. No wellness clichés. Just a great community with lots of sweat, smiles, loud music, and doggies!
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re a natural leader who genuinely likes people.
You can be warm and welcoming while still being able to take charge, solve problems, hold people accountable, and keep a busy studio running smoothly.
You’re organized without being uptight. You have good instincts. You communicate well. You notice what needs to be done and do it.
And, importantly, you love yoga/pilates, dogs, and loud music.
Experience with any of the following is a big plus:
Managing people or a business
Sales and customer service
MINDBODY software
Yoga or fitness studios
But here's the thing:
We can teach you MINDBODY.
We can teach you our systems.
We can teach you how Funky Door operates.
What’s harder to teach is personality, leadership, common sense, warmth, hustle, and the ability to connect with people.
