Hi there! I am the founder of a small startup developing healthier solutions for hair dyeing. We use large quantities of hair sourced from Indian temples for experiments and are finding the preparation of hair samples to be a bottleneck in our development speed. We are looking for help taking the sourced hair (cleaned, in pony tail form) and preparing it as small samples (aka tresses) for experimentation. This is a pretty easy but time consuming exercise consisting of sectioning the hair, threading it through microrings, crimping the microring, and cutting the tress to the appropriate length. This process is taken from microring extension preparation.

This is a remote gig-- we will supply you with the hair tools and training to perform this task. We are based close to UC Berkeley.
