Attach whatever your decking material (redwood, trex, mahogany, ipe, teak, balau, batu, other exotic tropical hardwoods and lumber, etc.) underneath to the floor joists.
In the box:
21 powder coated brackets (enough for 50 sq ft of deck- porch sized, say)
Requisite deck screws (10 x 1-3/4") and joist screws (8 x 1") and bits.
Instruction sheet.
Makes for a smooth deck with no holes or fasteners visible.
