We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in Berkeley, California. This position involves safely disassembling a variety of electronic equipment and machinery using hand tools while following established procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Disassemble electronic equipment, appliances, and machinery using hand and power tools.
* Sort and organize components and materials for recycling, reuse, or disposal.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
* Inspect equipment for reusable parts and report any issues to supervisors.
* Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Experience using hand tools is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with your hands.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
