Set-up heights are 31" to 53", and up to 82" with the geared center column extended.
Column will not slide down under weight, by itself, with the column lock open and 20 pounds on it, but keep the lock closed to avoid creep while photographing. Gear crank action is smooth and effortless (German engineering.)
Functions like magic. It has a reversable 3/8"-16 - 1/4"-20 mount bolt, and capable of using a 1/2" mounting bolt available from Cullman.
