Levitch Associates, Inc., a local construction company, is hiring a full-time driver to keep our jobsites supplied and running smoothly.
Pay: $35.50/hour, full-time
What you'll do:
Drive our Isuzu 12-ft stake-side dump truck
Pick up materials from lumberyards, suppliers and rental yards. Check orders before leaving.
Deliver to jobsites and work with foremen on where things go
Haul construction debris and recycling to transfer and disposal sites
Move tools and equipment between our shop and jobsites, and help keep track of them
Help with jobsite cleanup and keeping the shop and yard organized
Keep the truck clean, inspected and in good shape
Plan your routes and combine trips to save time
What we're looking for:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Able to lift, load, strap down and unload materials safely
Reliable and on time
Organized, with good communication with foremen, vendors and the office
Construction or delivery experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
This isn't just driving. We want someone who will learn our projects and suppliers, think ahead and stay one step ahead of what the crews need.
