My name is Alessandra and I am a master's of journalism student at UC Berkeley.
I am offering my services as a college admissions essay coach. I’m available for all steps of the essay process – from brainstorming, to first draft, to subsequent drafts, and finally, a polished final draft.
I can work with your child throughout the entire process or on a selection of these stages.
Together, we will craft an engaging essay that captures their authentic voice. I am also available to help with any supplemental essays a university might require. I make sure to keep that particular school’s character in mind when choosing an approach.
A little bit about me:
In 2023 I graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English. I concentrated in literary theory.
I have worked in multiple professional newsrooms. My work has appeared in NBC New York, the Wall Street Journal, and The Mendocino Voice.
I am currently a student at the University Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. I will graduate with a master's degree in journalism in 2028.
My rate is $90/hr. A single session is expected to last an hour. I recognize that unequal access to supplemental academic resources has resulted in inequitable admission odds. I am willing to negotiate my rate based on real need.
