Co-writer wanted for songwriting collaboration — Berkeley (berkeley north / hills)

I’m a Berkeley-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist looking to meet another local songwriter for occasional co-writing sessions.
I write and release music as Almonds and Elephants. I sing and play guitar, drums, piano, bass, and trombone, and I’ve generally written and recorded my songs myself. I’m drawn to melodic songwriting, interesting chord changes, good lyrics, and arrangements that bring out something unexpected.
My favorite songwriters include Lennon and McCartney, Elliott Smith, Harry Nilsson, and Randy Newman. I also love Radiohead, Miles Davis, blues, folk, and older jazz.
I’m hoping to find someone with musical instincts different from mine who enjoys sharing ideas and building songs together. I’m not looking to form a gigging band or pursue a particular commercial outcome; I’d just like to write good songs with someone collaborative and open-minded. Getting together around Berkeley every couple of weeks could work well.
If this sounds interesting, tell me a little about the music you write and what you enjoy working on.
