We are looking for an exceptional, experienced, detail oriented and friendly morning baker.
Shifts are 5:30am-2pm or 9am-5pm. Flexibility to work other shifts as needed is desirable.
3-5 days/week, 26-40 hours/week
Must be available Weekends.
We are looking for a team player who has dough knowledge and experience with cake assembly.
You will be baking our morning quiche, scones, biscuits, coffeecake and cookies, pies, bread pudding, tiramisu, layer cakes, and panna cotta.
Cleanliness and organization are important since we are a small, efficient kitchen team. We have our own recipes for you to follow and offer training to suit our production schedule. You will be joining our baking team with 1 head baker and 2 other assistants and will be working with 1-2 other cooks in the kitchen throughout your shift every day.
Baker & Commons opened in the Elmwood neighborhood in May 2018. We make all of our baked goods, jam, soda syrups and granola in house. Our buttermilk biscuits, tiramisu and chocolate chunk fleur de sel cookies are the reason many people come in! We take pride in the quality of our products.
If you are able to lift 50# and stand on your feet for long periods of time while having fun, then this is the job for you!
