Sesame a tiny bakery is looking for one additional experienced baker to join our team. We are a tiny bakery in a shared kitchen showcasing seasonal treats and using all organic ingredients. This a part-time position (20-24 hours) with weekend morning availability a must, and some flexibility to add on pastry prep hours especially as we move into the holidays would be ideal. We are a hardworking tiny collaborative team looking for the right thoughtful baker to join us. We all take pride in our work and work hard to make everything we bake and that fills our cases delicious and beautiful. We strive to create a community at Sesame where everyone is treated with respect and kindness.
Tasks involve, but are not necessarily limited to:
-laminated pastry work
-morning bake-off
-setting up the pastry case for our shop and helping at the counter when needed
-mixing cake batters, cookie doughs, pastry dough, additional prep
-cake assembly and frosting experience a plus!
-keeping the shared kitchen clean and running smoothly
