Parx Racing has a part-time customer service representative opportunity in our Phonebet Business Office. Weekends and Holidays are required.
Experience with pari-mutuel wagering on horse races and a call center background is desirable but not required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
-Handle and resolve customer inquiries
-Must possess excellent phone etiquette and be professional and courteous
-Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and be self-managed.
-High school diploma (or the equivalent) and basic reading, writing, math and language skills are required.
-Familiarity with operating a computer and office machines (e.g., photocopying equipment and fax machine)
-Weekends and holidays are required. Flexibility with work schedule is a plus.
-Must be dependable.
Below are the hours that we are looking to fill:
Part time schedule:
Fri: 12pm – 8pm
Sat: 12pm – 8pm
Sun: 12pm-8pm
$16/hr. and extra hours may be available.
Positions will require a background test for criminal history and drug tests. You will be required to obtain a Horse Racing Commission License
